INTRODUCTION
   
 
The diversity of climates is so dramatic that it is hard to believe that this long and thin country can boast a just formidable variety of contrasting landscapes. The north of Chile has the unique Atacama Desert, home of minerals and archaeological treasures. Imagine a sundowner cocktail in the Valle de La Luna (Valley of the Moon) with a chilled champagne glass under the stars of the southern hemisphere, an amazing horse riding the dunes of the arid Atacama Desert or a relaxing bath in the numerous thermal springs like Puritama.

In the central Chile where Santiago, the capital city is located, you will have the chance to interact with locals and get to know its costumes and traditions. Discover the majestic Andes Mountains which offer incredibly natural and exciting entertainment in winter or summer. There is no need to be an expert to try the challenging rafting down the Maipo river. And a relaxing lunch visiting the old cellars of one of the top wineries in Chile.

Easter Island is a real must to any good traveler. This remote island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean is a true open air museum that unveils the hidden secrets of a mysterious and ancient civilization.

The South of Chile is noted for its hundreds of major and minor lakes, volcanoes and lush green forests. Participate on a cruise tour through the fjords and board a boat tor approach to the huge walls of ice of the 30,000 year old San Rafael Glacier and then make your a toast with scotch (or your preferred drink) and millenary ice just taken from the bay.

Finally Patagonia, at the end of the world, is a fascinating region that invites the visitor to discover the almost untouched natural beauties that still exist on the planet. Old virgin forests, wild nature, fauna and impressive natural scenery.

Basic Santiago

Day 01: Santiago
Upon arrival to the airport the group will be transferred to the selected hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure. Evening transfer to a restaurant for a latin night with music and mouthwatering dishes. Overnight.

Day 02: Santiago
After breakfast the group will be transferred to the Cajon del Maipo Canyon located at the foothills of the Andes mountains. The Maipo river is a perfect place for a challenging white water rafting experience. After this amazing activity the participants will be driven to the nearby winery where a narrated visit to the old cellars and fine and elegant lunch will be ready. Return to the hotel in Santiago. This evening will be the farewell candle light dinner with a magnificent view of the city at night. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 03: Santiago
After breakfast the group will go for a “treasure hunt” experience in Santiago’s downtown area. The participants will be split into smaller groups and they will be given clues to follow the circuit. The group will get to know the most important highlights of the capital city in a very different way while interacting with locals and feeling like authentic “Santiaguinos”. The journey will end with a nice lunch at the traditional `El Mercado Central´ Return to the hotel, rest of the afternoon at leisure or transfer to airport on time to board the departure flight.

Combination North: `Unique and Surprising Desert´

Day 02: Santiago - Calama - San Pedro de Atacama
After breakfast, the group will be transferred to the airport in Santiago to board a flight to the northern city of Calama. The participants will be transferred for an hour drive through the desert up to the little oasis town of San Pedro de Atacama. The group will be met and greeted upon arrival to the hotel. After lunch there will be time to enjoy the hotel facilities. Late in the afternoon the participants will experience a “hike” in the “Valley of the Moon. The sundowner cocktail will be set on a cliff with a magnificent view of the mountains and the gypsum color of the desert. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 03: San Pedro de Atacama
Breakfast at the hotel. Today the group will be transferred for short drive of 15 minutes to the entrance of the “Death Valley”. There, horses and bikes will be ready for an unforgettable experience exploring the intricate geography of the Atacama Desert. After this experience the group will be taken to Thermal springs of “Puritama”. The cocktail and buffet lunch will be set and ready. The rest of the afternoon will be devoted to enjoy the warm waters of the Puritama hotsprings. This evening the dinner will be set in a traditional Quincho where a barbecue dinner and a band of local musicians playing its pan pipe flutes and zamponhas will delight the audience with its typical Andean songs. Overnight.

Day 04: San Pedro de Atacama - Santiago
After breakfast the group will have the morning free. Participants will be transferred to the airport in Calama on time to board the flight back to Santiago. Reception on arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Combination South: `Patagonia Glaciers´

Day 02: Santiago - Balmaceda - Puerto Chacabuco
Breakfast at the hotel. Rest of the morning at leisure. Departure for the airport on time to board flight to the southern city of Balmaceda. Reception on arrival and transfer to the private Park Aiken del Sur where the participants will be met by the guides and will enjoy a typical Patagonian Asado while getting introductory briefings of the history, flora and fauna of Northen Patagonia. Arrival to Puerto Chacabuco dinner and overnight.

Day 03: Puerto Chacabuco - San Rafael - Puerto Chacabuco
Full day trip navigation (12 to 13 hours) with all meals and beverages included, on board the modern Catamaran for an unforgettable cruise through the fjords of the northern Patagonia down to the Laguna San Rafael. Aboard zodiacs rafts, travelers approach the San Rafael Glacier and numerous free-floating icebergs. Return to the hotel in Chacabuco. Dinner and overnight.

Day 03: Puerto Chacabuco - Balmaceda - Santiago
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Balmaceda on time to board flight back to Santiago.
